Ansonia Clock Company, New York, "Agnes" 8-day time & strike walnut shelf clock, C.1883.
CONDITION:
Elaborately carved case with turnings, in very good condition with original finish. Matches catalog drawing of "Agnes" with few minor differences, but probably same model. Fancy two-barrel pendulum. Near-perfect silver-stencil tablet with birds and rabbits. 8-day movement, with company stamp, retains original winding stops. Original painted dial with small losses. Hour strike on bell. Ht.21".
